President Cyril Ramaphosa will, on Wednesday, deliver the keynote address at the Basic Education Sector Lekgotla in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg.
The annual meeting brings together senior education officials, including those from provinces, as well as policymakers and sector experts.
They will discuss Early Childhood Development ECD , strengthening literacy and numeracy, enhancing teacher training, as well as safety in schools.
