Two suspects arrested in connection with a mass shooting incident in the Marikana informal settlement in Phillipi East on the Cape Flats are due to appear the Athlone Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Six people were shot dead at a shebeen last weekend.
One person who was wounded died on the way to hospital, while the eighth died in hospital.
