Captain Laurance Makgotloe, the police captain whose forensic analysis played a key role in the investigation into the murder of Vereeniging engineer and former employee of Q Tech Engineering Armand Swart, will remain behind bars for at least a few more days.
This after his case was postponed to 4 June in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court for a formal bail application.
Makgotloe appeared briefly on Tuesday 2 June on allegations that he defeated the ends of justice and interfered with evidence linked to one of Gauteng's most closely watched murder investigations.
