The City of Tshwane has begun implementing measures to stabilise its electricity infrastructure following years of underinvestment.
Executive Mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya says they have begun rebuilding technical capacity after years of under-financing and repeated infrastructure failures that have affected residents and businesses.
She says dozens of vacancies in the electricity department have already been advertised, with a focus on strengthening frontline operations.
