Three police officers, Colonel Darius Ramolobe, Captains Edwin Malatjie and Samuel Ramalepe have urged Parliamentarians to protect them as whistleblowers when they expose criminal activities in their ranks.
The three were giving evidence before the Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration , corruption and political interference in the criminal justice system.
Malatjie says their call includes protection from victimisation from their bosses.
