R71 In Limpopo Reopened Following Accident Leading To Gas Explosion

Limpopo's Department of Transport and Community Safety says that the R71 in Makgoebaskloof has been reopened for traffic.

This after a truck carrying gas cylinders crashed and the cylinders exploded on Tuesday night.

The vehicle went out of control and veered off the road.

The explosion also caused a runaway veld fire.

Transport spokesperson, Matome Taueatsoala has also appealed to drivers to obey traffic rules.
