According to Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health, the Federal Government has revealed plans to begin domestic manufacturing of in-vitro diagnostics, IVDs, generic pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and other medical devices critical to unlocking Nigerias health care value chain.
He disclosed this through his official X account, yesterday. He stated that Tinubus administration is committed to stimulating local production of in-vitro diagnostics and biologics in Nigeria.
"We are moving forward in 2024 to unlock Nigerias healthcare value chains, inspired by Mr President.
Domestic manufacturing of in-vitro diagnostics IVDs, generic pharmaceuticals, vaccines, biologics, and medical devices is critical to advancing the health and wellbeing of all Nigerians."
