South African Democratic Teachers Union Sadtu says the matric exam leak scandal in Gauteng should not compromise the overall integrity of the examinations.
The National Investigative Task Team probing the scandal is expected to submit its preliminary report to Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube on Monday , following allegations that 26 matric candidates from seven Pretoria schools accessed leaked exam papers.
However, the report will not be made public until a final report is submitted.
