Former Chelsea defender, Filipe Luis has extended his contract as Coach of Brazilian side, Flamengo until December 2027, Softfootball understands.
The left-wing star has enjoyed a brilliant coaching career so far and was the coach when Flamengo participated at the FIFA Club World Cup last summer. Flamengo also denied reports linking them with Gabriel Jesus . The Arsenal striker was rumoured to be on his way to the Brazilian team but the reports weren't true.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle , he reported that the Coach will continue with Flamengo amid strong links with a possible move to Europe. He revealed:
