Former South African national team captain, Bongani Khumalo, says he is surprised that Uche Ikpeazu decided to play for Uganda at the senior level rather than Nigeria.
Uche was born in London to a father from Nigeria and a mother from Uganda, which means he could have played for any of the three countries.
Khumalo, who is working as a pundit with SuperSport covering the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, said, I remember talking to him, Nigerian and Ugandan parents.
