Senior Counsel Advocate Dali Mpofu is taking the Legal Practice Council LPC to court in a bid to set aside the remaining four amended charges in the Councils disciplinary case against him, describing it as frivolous and baseless.
Mpofu faces a disciplinary hearing before the LPC following a complaint filed by the Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution CASAC that alleges professional misconduct in relation to Mpofus conduct in several high-profile matters.
Mpofu seeks to invalidate and set aside the LPCs decision to institute the amended disciplinary charges.
