AfriForum has hailed the late Congress of the People COPE leader Mosiuoa Lekota as one of the few politicians who was willing to take an unpopular stance.
The organisaton says Lekota did not hesitate to stand united alongside the civil organisation in 2018 to protect property rights.
In 2018, COPE joined forces with AfriForum against the African National Congress' plan to amend the constitution in order to expropriate land without compensation.
