ANC-linked businessman Suliman Carrim believes fellow North West businessman Brown Mogotsi lied about having influence on on-leave Police Minister Senzo Mchunu.
Testifying at the Madlanga commission on Monday 9 March, Carrim also claimed Mogotsi and attempted murder-accused tenderpreneur Vusimuzi Cat Matlala had played him.
Carrim spills the beans on Mogotsi, MatlalaCarrim testified that he lent R10 million to Matlalas company, Medicare24 Tshwane District, around the time it won a R360 million contract with the South African Police Service SAPS. Matlala requested a meeting in June 2024 to ask for the loan, he recalled.
