Democratic Alliance DA MP Dianne Kohler-Barnard says she believes that the reason she became unpopular with KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi was because she once reported him to the Public Protector.
She was questioned about why she thinks Mkhwanazi would accuse her of sharing classified intelligence information without permission.
Kohler-Barnard was testifying before the Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system.
