President Cyril Ramaphosa has defended his decision not to fire Police Minister Senzo Mchunu , who is currently on special leave while receiving his full salary and ministerial benefits.
Ramaphosa accepted the Madlanga Commission interim reports recommendations regarding police misconduct and corruption. He has faced harsh criticism for leaving out Mchunu when he announced that action would be taken against implicated government officials.
While on an oversight visit to the South African Revenue Service SARS National Command Centre in Brooklyn, Pretoria, Ramaphosa told the media that at right time hes going to respond to all Madlanga Commission of Inquiry recommendations.
