The case against Economic Freedom Fighter EFF leader Julius Malema has been adjourned to the 15th of April for closing arguments.
The East London Magistrates Court in the Eastern Cape heard pre-sentencing arguments of which the defense called social worker, Jessie Thompson, today.
In her statement, Thompson argued for a fine to be imposed on Malema.The EFF leader was convicted in October last year for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, discharging a firearm in a built-up area and reckless endangerment.The incident occurred during EFFs 5th anniversary celebrations at Sisa Dukashe Stadium in 2018.
