Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi has questioned Advocate Terry Motaus reasons for quitting as the Madlanga commission of inquirys chief evidence leader.

In an interview with Radio 702 on Thursday 2 October, Motau suggested that the commissions R147 million budget was insufficient for its task.

"To be able to perform a task of this nature, once the government says they have given you a budget of R147 million, it's not a lot of money for a task such as this, he said.
