The Jacob Zuma Foundation has slammed media reporting of Zumas alleged dinner with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as an attempt to smear him.
Daily Maverick reported on the apparent dinner on Saturday 31 January, citing the latest Epstein files released by the US Department of Justice.
Emails from the files indicate that the dinner happened in March 2010 at the Ritz Hotel in London during Zumas state visit to the United Kingdom.
