The Cape Winelands District Municipality CWDM Fire Services says firefighters are still battling with the fire in Wemmershoek, Franschhoek in the Boland.
The fire started in the Langrug area on Wednesday. Fire Services spokesperson, Anesca Roodt, says the Stellenbosch municipality is also on scene providing support with structure protection.
Roodt says no injuries have been reported while adding that firefighting teams will continue active operations throughout the night.
