The Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Criminality, Political Interference, and Corruption in the Criminal Justice System, better known as the Madlanga Commission will resume its public hearings with South African Police Service Section Head for Quality Management, Brigadier Rachel Matjeng at 9:30.
Matjeng is being probed for her alleged role in alleged cartel member Vusimuzi Cat Matlalas R360 million SAPS contract .
Matjeng, who allegedly received gifts and money from Matlala - which includes payments amounting up to R300 000 that were paid via Matjengs friends butchery - attributes this to a romantic relationship between the pair.
