The African National Congress ANC in the City of Tshwane has denounced the Democratic Alliances DA decision to file a fraud case against the citys Deputy Mayor and MMC for Finance Eugene Modise.
The DAs move follows the tabling of a forensic investigation report which has found that Modise was unethically benefiting from a company that is currently doing business with the municipality.
The ANC says a process is already under way to deal with the matter and that there was no need for a criminal case.
