Talented actor Thabiso Ramotshela has delivered a heart-rending performance so far as the beloved Mahlatse in season 3 of the Showmax Original series Youngins .
This season, Mahlatse's storyline delves into the shame and pressure poverty places on young people. The character is a Grade 10 learner, who ordinarily would be worried about passing his grades and be hanging out with friends or dating the girl of his dreams.
However, things go south when Mahlatse loses his bursary. Once again, he's forced to grow up fast, hustle for survival and figure out how to stay in school so he doesn't return to the poverty waiting for him back home.
