A severe thunderstorm accompanied by heavy downpours, damaging winds, excessive lightning and hail is expected to hit areas in the southern and midlands of KwaZulu-Natal.
The South African Weather Service SAWS has issued a yellow level 2 warning for Thursday and Friday.
Areas that could be affected include Greater Kokstad, Underberg, Giant Castle, Mooi River, Newcastle and many others.
