The Madlanga Commissioner, Advocate Sesi Baloyi, has put it to KwaZulu-Natal Hawks head Lesetja Senona, that there was a conflict of interest when he encouraged Vusimuzi Cat Matlala to seek legal advice over his multi-million rand cancelled SAPS contract.
Senona has admitted before the Commission that he encouraged Matlala to seek legal guidance after his R360 million SAPS tender was cancelled due to irregularities.
However, Senona defended his stance, stating that he did not believe his advice to Matlala would constitute a conflict of interest.
