A suspect has been arrested for defeating the ends of justice. This is in relation to an alleged staging of an attempted assassination on the suspect's life in Vosloorus, south-east of Johannesburg.
SABC News has reliably learnt that the suspect is a businessman. The SABC however cannot name the suspect until he makes his first court appearance on Monday.
Police spokesprson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe says the arrest was executed by a multidisciplinary team.
