President Cyril Ramaphosa says all those who are proven to have done wrong in the concerns raised by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner General Nhlanhla Mkwanazi will be dealt thoroughly in terms of the countrys laws.
He was speaking to the media at the end of the BRICS Summit which ended in Rio Jenairo in Brazil.
General Mkwanazi alleged that the police service has been infiltrated by criminal syndicates.
He also accused Police Minister Senzo Mchunu of having constant communication with criminal syndicates and of disbanding the Political Killing Task Team for no reason.
President Ramaphosa says the allegations are serious as they have implications for national security.
