Political parties are expected to attend the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of an incident in which three workers were trapped underground at the Lily Mine near Barberton, Mpumalanga.
Solomon Nyirenda, Pretty Nkambule and Yvonne Mnisi were working in the lamp-room container when part of the mine collapsed, trapping them.
The families of the deceased are at the mine to continue their calls to authorities to retrieve the bodies of their loved ones .
