A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting and raping a 95-year-old woman on Friday night at Vleeisboom village in Sekhukhune, Limpopo.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba says the suspect, who is known to the victim, attacked her at her home.
Mashaba says that the suspect was arrested last night and is expected to appear before the Nebo Magistrates Court on Monday.
