It has emerged that Witness F, who is testifying before the Madlanga Commission , shared sensitive police information with a civilian known as Steve Motsumi.
The shared information pertains to a picture of his application to have fingerprint evidence processed by a particular officer.
An image of the fingerprints was then sent to Motsumi. Motsumis name was first mentioned in text messages between KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi and the head of the KwaZulu-Natal Hawks Major-General Lesetja Senona.
