The Johannesburg Social Housing Company JOSHCO CEO Themba Mathibe has been released on R50000 bail in the Alexandra Magistrates Court, following his arrest on money laundering charges.
Mathibe, who is also the CEO of the Johannesburg Development Agency, was arrested on Monday by SAPS following a raid at the JOSHCO offices.
He was later arrested at his house, where he was allegedly found in possession of a large sum of money.
