Some families of the 11 people killed in the horrific crash on the R102 in Isipingo south of Durban, want owners of the truck, alleged to have caused the accident, to be held accountable.
Last Thursday, a truck collided with a fully loaded taxi resulting in the death of 11 passengers including a learner. Seven others including the taxi driver sustained critical to serious injuries.
Preliminary reports suggest the truck had worn out tyres and allegedly veered off its lane and into oncoming traffic resulting in the crash.
