Motorists travelling through Cape Town's southern suburbs are being advised to plan ahead as a series of temporary road closures in Claremont come into effect later this month, forming part of ongoing transport infrastructure upgrades in the area, Cape townEtc reports.
The City of Cape Town has confirmed that several intersections along Imam Haron Road will be closed from Monday, 16 February, with disruptions expected to remain in place until 31 May this year.
At the centre of the changes is the intersection of 1st Avenue and Imam Haron Road, where access into and out of 1st Avenue will be fully restricted for the duration of the works.
