The Limpopo government says it has cancelled the Marula Festival in Phalaborwa due to the impact of floods . The festival was last held prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Ba-Phalaborwa municipal area has been severely affected by recent floods, thus unable to accommodate the festival.
Premier Phophi Ramathuba says they want to divert the funds to flood relief.
