MTN South Africa has increased consumer contract prices by an average of 5.4 effective 1 February 2026, citing the need to sustain its network expansion, infrastructure resilience and customer experience.
The price adjustments will affect subscription fees and voice rates, the mobile operator said in its adjustments announcement this week.
Other components, such as device fees, insurance fees, value-added-service fees, out-of-bundle data rates, and add-on voice, SMS and data bundle prices will remain unchanged, it said.
