Bail conditions for Dumisani Khumalo relaxed

Among the previous bail conditions was a prohibition against Lt-Gen Dumisani Khumalo and his co-accused from resuming work.
The court has now set this aside after finding that Acting Chief Magistrate Vusimusi Mahlangus ruling was arbitrary and did not exercise the necessary judicial discretion.
Mahlangu has since recused himself from the case after being subpoenaed by the Madlanga commission, which is probing allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system.
