Government has officially extended the temporary reduction of the fuel levy to shield South Africans from another massive price hike expected next month.
In a joint move to stave off economic pressure, the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources have confirmed that the relief measures first introduced in April will now continue.
The general fuel levy-which was slashed by R3 a litre will remain suspended until the 2nd of June.
