FlySafairs annual birthday sale is back for 2025, giving a chance to South Africans to buy 50,000 flight tickets for just R11 each.
As in previous years, demand is expected to be high as local travellers look to cash in on tickets available at an unbelievable price .
FlySafairs 2025 Lekker R11 ticket saleIn a statement on Tuesday 6 May, the airline announced that it will run the highly anticipated promotion on Wednesday 7 May, starting at 09:00 until 23:00. However, it is unlikely that the tickets will be available for this entire duration.
50,000 seats will be up for grabs on FlySafairs domestic flight network for only R11 each. This price includes airport tax, making it even more of a bargain.
The airline is running the sale to celebrate 11 years of operations in South Africa.
How it worksThe sale will happen on FlySafair's website here . Once you load the website, it will redirect you to a waiting room immediately.
"As with previous sales, the airline will once again have a waiting room to protect the website and customer sales experience," the company explained.
"Throughout the sale, the waiting room will provide access to a select number of lucky customers who will then have 10 minutes to complete their purchase."
Additionally, those in the waiting room can use the R11 Fare Finder to search for flights. They will then enter FlySafair's Free Flights for a Year competition.
"To pass the time, customers can also play a new waiting room game, Flappy Plane. Please note the FlySafair App will be available for normal bookings, for those not looking for a R11 ticket, the airline said.
