While many South Africans celebrate Youth Month , the family and friends of slain anti-apartheid struggle icon Ngoako Ramalepe are still searching for closure.
The student activist and underground political operative was captured and killed by the Lebowa homeland police in October 1985.
Ramalepe, who hailed from Makgato village, near Polokwane in Limpopo, was the president of the Student Representative Council at the Modjadj Teacher Training College, now called the Modjadji College of Education.
