Ekurhuleni City Manager Kagiso Lerutla has launched the citys flagship service delivery programme dubbed Fixing the Frontline, signalling new intent in enhancing frontline services.
The programme aims to restore functionality, efficiency and professionalism at municipal depots so they can deliver reliable and sustainable services to residents.
It also seeks to support and capacitate general workers, with a particular focus on their well-being, safety and development, the city said.
