The Democratic Alliance DA says it wants the President, the Office of the Public Protector as well as Parliament to probe allegations of maladministration and abuse of power at Parliament.
The party says it has submitted a 393-page document for the three institutions, to investigate the rapid escalation of the salary of the Secretary to Parliament Xolile George, questions around his appointment, and allegations of maladministration of millions of taxpayers money for the 2023 BRICS Parliamentary Forum.
The party says investigation by the three institutions is crucial in ridding Parliament of corruption.
