The Democratic Alliance DA has called on South Africans to be united against attempts to divide them as represented by the 30 June Shutdown declared by groups against undocumented foreign nationals.
DA Deputy Federal Chairperson Solly Malatsi was speaking at an online rally opposing the shutdown hosted by the Ahmed Kathrada Foundatio n.
Malatsi said the country needs to come together and be more vocal against populists who are trying to break the social fabric of South Af rica.
