The African National Congress ANC in the North West has expelled five councillors in the Maquassi Hills local municipality .
The group, which includes Mayor Mzwandile Feliti, was found guilty of defying the partys mandate and conniving with opposition parties to execute their responsibilities at the municipality.
The ANC Deputy Regional Chairperson in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda municipality, Zanele Mphafudi, confirms that the councillors faced six charges. were preferred against the councillors.
