Firefighting crews are battling to contain a blaze which is threatening properties near Glencairn in Cape Towns Southern Peninsula.
The Citys Fire and Rescue Spokesperson, Jermaine Carelse, says they responded to the scene earlier on Thursday.
"The fire is currently threatening the area near Capri, where most of our resources are situated. Active firefighting is taking place to prevent any damage to property. Furthermore, the fire is running on top of the ridge, in the direction of Ocean View."
