The CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations UNIFFAC qualifiers will take place in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, from 17 February to 2 March, bringing together six Central African nations in the race for continental qualification.
The tournament will be played in a two-group format, with teams drawn into Group A and Group B, as the region battles for places at the U-17 AFCON finals.
Group A comprises DR Congo, Congo, and the Central African Republic, while Group B features defending UNIFFAC champions Cameroon, alongside Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
Cameroon head into the tournament carrying the weight of recent success, having won the last UNIFFAC U-17 qualifiers on home soil, a campaign that saw them qualify for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations alongside the Central African Republic. That triumph underlined the strength of the young Indomita Lions at youth level and raised expectations ahead of the Kinshasa showdown.
