Jorge Sanchez has completed a permanent move to PAOK, sealing his return to European football.
The deal was confirmed on February 5, 2026 by Fabrizio Romano on their official x handle . Sanchez leaves Cruz Azul and signs a contract in Thessaloniki until June 2029. The transfer fee is reported to be around 3.4 million, with a further 420,000 in performance-related add-ons.
The 27-year-old arrived in Greece to complete his medical and sign the contract with PAOK CEO Maria Goncharova, alongside his representatives from Unique Sports Group. This move also marks the fifth departure from Cruz Azul in the Clausura 2026 window.
