The Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, political interference and corruption within the criminal justice system has received an update on efforts to secure the appearance of Brown Mogotsi.
The committee is meeting virtually to discuss the expected appearance of witnesses including former Independent Police Investigative Directorate IPID head Robert McBride and private investigator Paul OSullivan.
Briefing MPs, the committees Evidence Leader, Advocate Nomarn Arendse, outlines the challenges facing the inquiry, revealing that Mogotsi has raised concerns about his legal representation and personal security.
