Zamalek spokesperson Ahmed Salem revealed that they received an offer from Saudi outfit NEOM SC to acquire Ahmed Sayed Zizo this summer. NEOM have been on the ascendency recently having earned promotion to the second tier of Saudi football last season. Their rise allowed the club to sign a number of high-profile players led by Ittihad duo Ahmed Hegazi and Romarinho as well as Salman Al-Faraj from Al-Hilal. It has been reported in recent hours that NEOM SC have entered negotiations with Zamalek for their star Ahmed Sayed Zizo and the news has now been confirmed by Ahmed Salem. I can confirm that we received an offer from NEOM for Zizo and the clubs board of directors will be discussing it, Salem told ONTime Sports. Zizo wants to stay at Zamalek and we were waiting for him to return from the Olympics in Paris to hold talks over a contract renewal. No decision has been made yet, and the verdict is contingent on Jose Gomes opinion on the matter, particularly before any new signings are made.
