Leaders of 10 political parties that formed the government of national unity GNU say the coalition has provided stability and leadership to South Africa, among other achievements.

This follows a two-day retreat they held at the Cradle of Humankind in Mogale City, Gauteng, on Sunday and Monday 2-3 November.

They included President Cyril Ramaphosa and Deputy President Paul Mashatile from the African National Congress ANC, Democratic Alliances DA John Steenhuisen, Inkatha Freedom Partys Velenkosini Hlabisa, and Patriotic Alliances Gayton McKenzie .
