Controversial North West businessman Brown Mogotsi has failed to honour appointments with the South African Police Service SAPS linked to a search-and-seizure warrant, SAPS national spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe says.
On 16 October, police raided his business premises in Seweding village in Mahikeng, North West. It later emerged that he was not at the premises when they conducted the raid.
This was part of an investigation in a case of fraud, corruption and defeating the ends of justice opened by SAPS KwaZulu-Natal Commissioner Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi earlier this year.
