Hundreds of mourners gathered at the NG Kerk in Wellington, Boland, in the Western Cape, to pay their final respects to former Springbok player Cornal Hendricks .
The 37-year-old passed away just over a week ago after suffering a heart attack . He had been diagnosed with a heart condition in 2015.
Hendricks made his Springboks debut in 2014, playing 12 Tests and scoring five tries.
The Director of Vodacom Bulls and former Springboks coach, Jake White, is among the mourners.
Pastor Robbie Brazelle, a close friend of the late Springbok rugby player, described him as a dedicated and hard-working individual who was committed to both his rugby career and helping others.
